What are Karma Points?

You earn Karmapoints by adding information to the website. As you share your feedback you earn points.

Here's the current Karma categories where you can earn points and points will earn you caps! You will find them in your personal profile when you create a free account on GoTriCities. Sign up now with your Facebook profile or GoTriCities login.

As you add or share your thoughts, events and other content with the site, you can earn points in these current categories.

1. Create and a new account - 10 points automatically
2. Add your photo - 15 points
3. Add an event - 25 points
4. Write a movie review - 30 points
5. Write a comment - 5 points
6. Create an article or press release - 30 points
7. Create a Top 10 List - 30 points
8. Share your band in the band directory - 20 points
9. Share your music on Radio GoTriCities - 30 points
10. Share an article, event or video - 30 points

How do I win prizes?

As you share content, you can see your points increase inside your personal account dashboard. Login to the site to see your point totals by clicking the "Karma Points Total." Add an event, write a review and you'll see your points increase.

As you earn points, you'll earn special "Karma Caps."

What are Karma Caps?

Karma Caps are small badges you earn for achieving a minimum karma point total. Earning a cap makes you eligible for a specific prize category.

Here's an example – If you reach 300 points by writing movies reviews, you'll receive a "Movie Critic" Karma Cap. This Karma Cap will be displayed on your user profile for others to see and as you collect caps, you'll eligible for more prizes.

We trust good Karma will be practiced by all members of GoTriCities and our editors will moderate and review all submitted content for accuracy and civility. We would rather not worry about any wrong-doing, but if we detect any inappropriate action, we will have no choice, but to eliminate the user account from participating on the website.

We reserve the right to edit and remove any content in violation of our terms and are not held liable for any inaccuracies or responsibility for any content that is not the original expression of our contributors.
