After picking up a guitar at the age of 10, Jonesborough native Trey Hensley took the bluegrass world by storm — even performing on the Grand Ole Opry stage when he was just 11.
Several years ago, the now 21-year-old artist followed his heart and interests into the world of country music. With his second country CD, “It Is What It Is,” released just last month, Hensley is heading out to play his own brand of traditional honky-tonk music.
