    Benefit raises holiday spirit, money for ACS

    When patrons first arrived at Sunday’s Spirits of the Season event at The Millennium Centre, they were greeted by a large portrait photo of the late Ben Scharfstein. It was fitting to have Ben smiling at the people, many of them old friends of his, because he was the benefit’s founder and had become the face of the event, which raises money for the American Cancer Society.
