Benefit art auction set for Johnson City Seniors’ Center Foundation

A benefit art auction for the Johnson City Seniors’ Center Foundation will be held Nov. 7 at the Holiday Inn. The art preview will begin at 6 p.m., and the auction will begin at 7 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit the Johnson City Seniors’ Center through Christmas Food Boxes in December, Christmas in July, fellowships and scholarships for seniors to attend programs and seminars at the Seniors’ Center, grant matches for health and equipment needs, underwriting food costs for various events benefiting the senior population, Meals on Wheels, and activity and programming subsidies.
More than 200 works of art by nationally and internationally recognized artists will be auctioned. Beginning bids will be below retail prices. State of the Art Fund Raising Art Auctions Ltd. will conduct the auction. A door prize will be awarded. You must be present to win. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Admission is $40 per person and $75 per couple.
