Deltiology and the Postcard: A Lost Medium for Messaging” is the new exhibit in the Saltville Hall of the Museum of the Middle Appalachians in Saltville Deltiology, the formal name for postcard collecting, is now the third largest collectable hobby in the world. The exhibit features postcards from Galax, Wytheville, Bristol, Abingdon, Lebanon, Glade Spring, Preacher Creek, Pocahontas, Gate City, Tazewell, Dante, Sugar Grove, Carroll County, Newbern, Salem, Norton, Grundy, and of course, Saltville.
