Green Rode Shotgun
Green Rode Shotgun was born out of the vestiges of several other Tennessee bands in the summer of 2001. Their debut EP, Persistence of Youth, garnered glowing local reviews. Each of the five members brought with them an assortment of influences that are reflected through Green Rode Shotgun’s music; the result is a distinctive melting-pot sound with the lyrical genius of Van Morrison, the classic rock melodies of Led Zeppelin, and the energy of a young REM.

Rob Russell and the Sore Losers
Rob Russell and the Sore Losers are tearing up the southeast with their roots rock and roll sound. Before joining up with bassist Travis Stuart and drummer Andy Russell, Rob Russell received an onstage education in American Roots music that encompassed bluegrass, country, blues, swing, punk and most points in-between. As a songwriter, sideman, and frontman, Rob worked with folks like Walt Wilkins (Pat Green Band), Scott Miller (V-Roys), Billy Crawford (Deborah Coleman Band) and Dick Thompson (Steve Miller Band). All the while, Rob was writing and singing with his own bands and developing the original, genre-bending rock and roll sound that would become Rob Russell and The Sore Losers. Based in Johnson City, TN and formed in 2000, Rob and the Sore Losers soon developed a reputation as a great live band that combined powerful songwriting with a straight-ahead "old school" rock and roll sound.
