The Birthplace of Country Music Alliance presents a tribute to Dr. Ralph Stanley at The Paramount Center for the Arts on Sunday April 11, 2010 at 3pm. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Ralph Stanley Museum and Traditional Mountain Music Center. The lineup for this evening of outstanding musical talent are Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys, Ralph Stanley II, Nathan Stanley, Stella Parton, Paul Williams & The Victory Trio, Jack Greene, Tim Stafford, Folk Soul Revival, and Ben “Cooter” Jones from the Dukes of Hazzard. I've worked on this for years. The entire album has been complete for going on two years but wasn't to my standard for final release until now. I stepped up over the past couple of days and mixed all of the tracks and mastered them out to something that I feel I can be proud of. Please give it a listen and let me what you think. I am particularly interested in some feedback regarding the mixes.

The full album is up for download. There are two rar packages, one with 320kbps mp3 and one with flac. If demand makes necessary I can put up a more compressed (~192kbps VBR) version though I would rather not. The mp3 version is here and the flac version is here. Additionally the tracks are available for download individually via my shared folder.

PTM tonight at chrome. should be a fantastic show as always. They are gearing up for Spring Break in Panama City next week so it should be a great show full of new covers and crazy onstage antics... ah PTM... fantastic band..

Good point Loki. We've had some folks submit music lately and although we really don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, we've got to set some reference point for great acts.

If you've got a band, record your music well. If you want attention, get to work - do the hard things – do the work, play the shows and trust the audience to determine your greatness.
