  Unicoi Sheriffs mapping county trails - hope effort will help with hiker emergencies

  GIS coordinators with the Unicoi Sheriffs department, with laptop and GPS in tow, are out walking the countys foot trails to map their routes. The EZ911 software automatically plots the path as it is walked, and the information is then uploaded into the countys emergency dispatch system to aid in emergencies. More
