Appalachian Actors Regional Theatre
The Appalachian Actors Regional Theatre was founded in the summer of 2007 as an outgrowth of the collaboration between local actors and technical theatre personnel from various local theatre organizations.

At A.A.R.T., we are determined to provided theatrical opportunities for individuals both on-stage and behind the scenes, depending upon where our participants' interests lie as we continue to foster the talents of our local communities while simultaneously providing them with quality theatrical entertainment.

Our participants are all volunteers, eager to produce quality theatre performances for the Southwest Virginia region.

Appalachian Brass Orchestra
The Appalachian Brass Orchestra, formerly the Tennessee Brass, was founded in 2004 by Artistic Director and Conductor, Anthony Parnther. It's 18 core members are among the finest brass and percussion artists in the Appalachian region and are featured in the Johnson City Symphony, Symphony of the Mountains, Western Piedmont Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, Lexington Philharmonic, Tallahassee Symphony, Atlanta Pops, Richmond Philharmonic, Asheville Symphony and other regional performing groups.

Ball Sisters Band
We are a bluegrass & acoustic group from the hills of East Tennessee. We all live in Rogersville, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The Ball Sisters Band features the award winning musicianship of fiddler Jessica Ball and guitarist/mandolinist Cris Ball.Their father, Randy Ball, plays guitar, while friends John Skelton on bass and banjo/fiddle player Jim Bowman round out the group.

Blue Rapture
Blue Rapture is a group of musicians whose roots are firmly based in American Blues. It was formed by the coming together of Ron Baisden (sax and keyboards), Gary Gerhart (bass) and Vanessa Persson (Vocals and flute), all of whom were living in the area around Johnson City, Tennessee.

Bluesman
Solo blues performer with full back-up band featuring Tony Rominger (played with Chuck Berry, Johnny Rivers, Bruce Springsteen, Brian Seltzer, etc.) Bluesman released his debut CD in February of 2001 and is receiving air play on the following stations: WQUT, WKPT, WRZK, Milo radio in Belgium. Also, the local radio in Pound, VA is playing my CD (Im waiting on call letters to be e-mailed). The name of the CD is Girl of My Dreams written by Bluesman and produced by Bluesman and Tony Rominger. Bluesman was an entrant in the Rhythm and Roots Reunion in October 2001.
